Eurosorb

Eurosorb is a primary dressing in single swab made of 1OO% calcium alginate, sterile, soft and highly absorbent fibres. In contact with exudate, Eurosorb turns into a biocompatible gel, which maintains a moist wound healing environment.

Promotes the healing process and the formation of newly formed tissue. Eurosorb can absorb exudates up to 1O times its weight and can remain in situ up to 7 days, depending on the patient's condition and the amount of exudates.

Eurosorb is an integral alginate absorbing exudates between and within its fibres. The advantage is that it can be removed in one piece and the structure of Eurosorb reduces to the minimum the risk of release of alginate fibres into the wound and does not cause trauma to newly formed tissue, does not adhere to the wound bed and does not release exudates, preventing the risk of skin maceration.

Eurosorb is latex free.

Contraindications

• Do not use on Surgical implantation
• Third degree burns
• Dry wounds
