Euroderm I.V. Plus

Euroderm I.V. Plus is a sterile kit intended for a safe and functional management of insertion sites. It is composed by a sterile polyurethane film dressing with an absorbent central pad, an extra pad antidecubitus and a stripe in polyester net for the fixation of tubing.

The lengthwise cut allow a safe position of cannula and catheters. Euroderm I.V. Plus it is extensible, transparent, impermeable to liquids and bacteria but permeable to vapour, radiotranslucent, hypoallergenic, easy to remove from the skin in a non-traumatic manner.

It does not release adhesive residues on the skin. The highly absorbent and non-adherent pad retaining exudate minimizing the risk of skin maceration. The pressure sore prevention pad can be placed under the tube, for greater patient comfort.

The adhesive stripe in polyester non-woven fabric allows the fastening of the infusion set, in order to ensure greater safety against premature release of the needle. The dressing maintains an ideal moist wound microenvironment and promote healing.

The polyurethane and transparent IV dressing allows keeping the insertion site visible and controlling the microenvironment of the wound. Intended use: to be used for fixing cannulas and catheters.
